HR that comes in waves

The whole crew starts in the same few weeks, asks the same questions, and comes back next summer.

What's behind those questions

  • Everyone starts in the same few weeksThe crew arrives together, and each of them needs the offer, the rules and the safety course before the first shift.
  • The same people, a year laterReturning staff did it all last summer. Starting them from scratch wastes their time, and skipping steps leaves holes.
  • Teenagers and interns come with rulesHour limits for 14- and 15-year-olds, age rules for young lifeguards and a legal test for unpaid internships.

The whole crew, ready before opening day

Invite them once, launch one plan per role, and see who's still missing something.

Everything you need for a seasonal crew, every year

Cards, onboarding, interns and returning staff, all in one place.

Catch expired cards before opening day

Keep every lifeguard, CPR and food handler card with its expiry date. If one ran out over the winter, that person is flagged.

See who's seasonal at a glance

Each person is marked seasonal, temporary or intern, so your summer crew doesn't get mixed up with your year-round staff.

Set up each job once

Write down once what a new lifeguard signs, reads and learns. Every lifeguard you hire, this summer and next, gets the same start.

Interns get their own start

Interns follow their own steps, not the crew's: an internship offer letter to sign, plus their own training and tasks.

Less to redo for returning staff

People coming back keep the courses they finished. Get next season's refresher ready early and send it to everyone returning.

Next summer, they pick up where they left off

Terminate when the season ends, Restore when it starts again. Their profile, history and signed documents wait for them.

A note from the founder
A season is short, and most of it is decided before you open. The whole crew starts in the same few weeks, and every one of them needs an offer signed, the rules read and the training done before their first shift. I think those weeks should go to getting ready, not to chasing paper. And the best people you'll hire are the ones who come back next year. In FirstHR you bring them back with one click, and last year's training is still on their record. They sign this season's papers and get to work.
